Born late in the year and being the only baby on
the farm for several months, Elektra quickly became everyone's darling and one
of our favorite kids from the 2004 season. Extremely long bodied with a very
wide, flat rump and a high open estuchion, Elektra earned her dry leg at 2005
Goats in Gatorland under Greg Murphy at 6 months of age at her first show out.
Elektra freshened as a yearling milker in April 2006. She unfortunately missed
the spring show season but has been on DHIR (and looks to have earned her
advanced registry status to become a 7*M) and was LA'd in May scoring FS 89 VEVE.
We are extremely pleased with this doe and have retained her 2006 doe kid sired
by our senior herdsire, GCH One Oak Hill Tweed Conagher
in our herd this year. Elektra has been rebred to Conagher again this year for
Jan kids and we are looking foward to having her in the showring as a 2 yr old
second freshener.
