Conagher is only getting better
with age and is turning out to be everything we had hoped for in a senior
herdsire. He is very linebred on +*B Me's Ranch Dutch Harlequin and exhibits the
Harlequin "look". We are very pleased with what we see in Conagher's offspring.
Consistency in general appearance and in udder improvement seem to be a strong
genetic trait for this buck. Of the daughters that we have freshened, we are
seeing improvements in teat placement, width of rear udder, medial suspensary
ligaments and smoothness and extension of fore udder. We have retained
Conagher's first milking daughter, SGCH Devonshire Sophia,
in our herd and she has proven to be a strong and productive doe over the past 6
years. Her LA scores all fall within the FS 89-91 range with her FS as a 5 yr
old being 91 with an E in Mammary. She has also shown competively at the National
level placing 4th as a 2 yr old with 3rd Udder at the 2003 Nationals after
finishing her permanent Championship with a BDIS win during the spring show
season. Conagher himself continues to do well in the show ring finishing his CH
